Toys Toiletries and Toques completed its 11th year
The key to our success for 2021 was 89.7 JuiceFM
And our Friends at Speedy Glass!

Toys Toiletries & Toques have already begun planning for our 12th year of collecting NEW non-food items for those that need items for a better holiday season.  We collect in November and distribute to the Food Banks in the Cowichan Valley for early December.

We don't believe we could have grown and expanded without some key sponsors and the steadfast Elves. From the 5th year forward, the Speedy Glass Duncan team has supported us with radio advertisements, loaned us their truck for deliveries, and generally helped us out in every capacity. We are eternally grateful.

Huge thanks to the donors right across the Cowichan Valley. From donations including bicycles to beautiful Teddy Bears (compete with instructions on how to wash them!) and lovely little packets of Toiletries, much-needed toilet paper and sanitary products, and handmade toques, sweaters, scarves, gloves and more. Any type of NEW non-food donation is gratefully received. We have some awesome donors who have supported us with beautiful donations year after year.

Over the years we have had some wonderful sponsors who have donated cash to our efforts for gift certificates, movie passes, skating tickets and more and we have had many who have provided complimentary services like printing, signs, graphic arts, website design and maintenance, magazine advertising, and more! We are eternally grateful.

And all the way along we have had some amazing Elves. Elves have come and Elves have gone and yes, there are a few that have been here all 12 years.

To finish, when it perhaps should be the first paragraph is immense and huge thanks to 897 Juice FM Cowichan's radio station. They supported us with Live on Location spots, coverage on their website, they were the primary drop-off location throughout our program and further supported with social media posts and stories throughout. Heartfelt thanks to the whole Juice FM team, but particular thanks to Jen, Justis, Megan, and Devon.

This is community helping community at its finest and with continued support from 897 Juice FM and Speedy Glass Duncan Hopefully, this provides a merrier and bright Christmas for those that need a boost in the beautiful Cowichan Valley. THANK YOU.
