We Donate To Those in Need in The Cowichan Valley

Delivered by 5 Food Banks to make a better Christmas for children.

This is the 10th Annual Toys Toiletries and Toques Fundraiser! It’s hard to believe that we’ve been assisting our community to have a special holiday season for a decade! This was to be a banner year for us, bigger and better than ever, but Covid-19 has brought some unique challenges. The pandemic has forced the local Food Banks and Community Resource Centers to change the way they help the community. Some of our key volunteers, due to unforeseeable circumstances, are not able to help this season. Due to all of these issues, we also have had to change how we fundraise this year.

Instead of a wrapped donation box, we are going to be placing donation tins at several local businesses and we are hoping you will continue to support us in this manner. We are encouraging people to donate cash or a gift card from local businesses that can then be placed in the tins.  As most food banks and community resources are asking for gift cards, we feel this may be the best way to ensure everyone has a Merry Christmas in 2020! Please take a look at our Drop-Off/ Donation Location button to see our list of participating businesses.

These Videos Demonstrate the Volunteer work we do each year.

Helping the Five Local Food Banks Deliver more for the needy at Christmas time.
