Meet The Elves
Brenda Burch
Brenda is an 'original' Elf and she owns Social Media Is Not Simple Brenda has mostly done social media and marketing work for Toys Toiletries & Toques She lovingly keeps the Elves in line. HA.
Lorraine Catney Keen
Lorraine is another 'original' Elf. She operates a wonderful BNB in Shawnigan Lake. Lorraine has always looked after our 'books', but really assisted in every area in 2021. There was nothing she didn't accomplish as we had to change what we did in 2020.
Evelyn Gates
And another 'original' Elf! This is the wonderful Evelyn Koops Champoux. She and her partner George own the fantastic Farm Table Inn and Ev also operates Visual Edge Graphic Design On a volunteer basis, Ev designed the TTT logo and our first creative artwork.
We are HUGELY thankful to still have Evelyn who does a completely awesome job of our Graphic Design
Leigh Davies
Leigh is an 'original' Elf and she and her husband Chris operate the very successful Mid Island Ink Depot They really are the only place to go for printers, ink, and more. Leigh has done every volunteer job we have at TTT including wrapping donation boxes, being a Drop Off Elf, helping to sort donations accepting donations on Drop Off Day and more!
Pauline Dueck
This is another 'original' Elf who has contributed in every area of the TTT program. Pauline Dueck is a well-known artist and many residents throughout BC and far beyond are very pleased to own one of her fabulous pieces. She is a particularly good sorter of donations! Pauline has a VERY busy life and contributes to many, many organizations, including all areas of the Arts community and the Mill Bay Garden Club. We use her shamelessly as a 12 year Elf because she is and she's famous! HA!
Ron and Darlene Huff
This is Ron and Darlene Huff. Darlene owns and operates The Coaching Suite and Ron is an accomplished wine expert and analyst. Each year they deliver together the toys, toiletries, and toques to all 5 of the Food Banks we provide NEW non-food items for. They relocated from Ontario a few years ago and began volunteering with us right away. We are VERY glad they did!
Tina Short
This is Tina Short and she in another Elf that has often jumped in to assist in a variety of areas when we needed help. Tina owns A Memorable Gift and she volunteers in several different areas throughout the Valley including Rotary and the Cowichan Family Life. You can always depend on Tina to get the job done!
Debbie Battler
This is Debbie Battler of DEConsulting, SEO Services. She is an expert in SEO, website design for small businesses and just about anything else to do with the internet! She keeps our website - www.toystoiletriestoquesca up to date, comes up with great ideas for online promotion, and created those great movies you see on our website from previous years. Debbie and her husband relocated to Vancouver Island a few years ago and because Debbie and Brenda worked together for years, Brenda pounced on Debbie to volunteer at TTT and she has been holding us together online ever since.
Don McCormick

Don is a wonderful Duncan Cowichan Chamber of Commerce team member and primarily does sales and marketing.
We are glad to welcome Don. He has a big Jeep for moving donations around, and he can also do Reels.
